Southfield Mezzanine Announces Investment in Southern Shade Tree Co.
GREENWICH, Conn., August 2026 - We are pleased to announce that Southfield Mezzanine has made a subordinated debt and equity investment to support Mosaic Capital Partners’ acquisition of Southern Shade Tree Co. (“SST”). Spring Capital Partners and Pine Street Capital Partners participated alongside Southfield in the transaction.
Based in Charlotte, NC, SST is a vertically integrated landscape installation and maintenance company, supported by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bentwood Farms, which provides sod and plants for the company's installation business. SST operates across eight metro locations in North and South Carolina, serving major national homebuilders.
